What you will be doing

This role is responsible for translating a surgeon’s craniomaxillofacial treatment plan using proprietary software to design the 3D CAD models of patient specific 3D printed guides, plates, and implants.

  • BS Engineering degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field, or MS degree in Engineering with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years medical device development experience in FDA regulated environment.
  • Proficient with many 3D CAD applications
  • Perform high quality work, placing the patient first.
  • Maintain records within the Quality Management System.
  • Interfacing with health care professionals to implement their procedure plan requests.
  • Read and understand CAT and MRI DICOM images, 3D CAD models.
  • Contribute to the creation of new software features
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Knowledge of the concepts of patient specific designs in orthopedics.
  • Experience with 3D Printing preferably both metal and plastics
  • Solidworks Experience
  • Ability to understand and apply GD & T and tolerance stack up analysis.
